At the Beijing Olympics, just like at the olympics preceeding it, the apparatus which shall be used in the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) differs greatly.  The men’s apparatus emphasizes strength whereas the women’s apparatus emphasizes balance and agility.
