Foamalux is a strong, UV stable material that can be used to build a snowboard box. It’s also easy for machining. Like stainless steel, it also is expensive - but if you have the funds, it’s a good choice. Another suggested snowboard box material is P-tex. It’s stronger than most woods and will give you a great slide. You should be able to find it at someplace like Home Depot. For better performance and an even better glide, look for the 4001 Grade P-tex base material.
