- Drink plenty of water. Studies show that drinking sufficient amounts of water daily (about 60-80 oz) will keep your skin hydrated and looking youthful. Some studies also show that being well-hydrated increases your metabolism, so you’ll burn calories better. If you tend toward constant snacking or binge-eating, substitute water for your snacks, when possible.
