Training, Exercises and Teamwork - It’s All About You

Filed under: Coaches, Exercise Fitness, Professional Sports — Author @ 12:09 pm

As the coach of a sports team you realize the importance of not only exercising the muscles but also exercising the mind to create a teamwork mentality.  It’s critical that each player not only understands his/her position responsibilities but also the impact they have on the rest of the team.

The same principles apply to developing a smooth running team on the field as apply to developing a smooth running customer service operation.  Each player is important to the rest, they need to be coached to instintively respond to the needs of their teammates.  The teambuilding exercises in The Joy of Customer Service Training apply to all faucets of teamwork.  Take a walk outside the normal athletic coaching routines and try these team building exercises.  You may find that the simplicity and yet visual impact will be understood and appreciated in a way that other activities geared to building a team don’t.  It will be refreshing, a change of pace and yet metally stimulating to your team.

Not all of the activities are going to be applicable to your team, but a great number of the concepts will be.  The basic principles in training remain the same, teach what they need to know in a manner they will understand and enjoy.  You get this inofrmation from The Joy of Customer Service Training.
