Tips and Advice For Beginning Skiers

The snow plow - One of the basic stances that nearly every ski beginner learns is the snow plow. It’s a stance where you the front of the skis point inwards and are close to each other and the back of the skis are far apart from each other, simulating a triangle or “snow plow”. The snow plow position has two main advantages: 1) It’s a stable position and 2) It prevents you from going too fast and thus losing control.
