A few years ago several of the American league teams began giving away bobble head dolls of star players to the fans. They would give out a certain number of the dolls on a first come first serve basis. The bobble head dolls have a vague resemblance to the player and they are wearing the uniform and number of the player. Now that the promotion has run for several years collectors are trying to get full sets. Some of the original bobble head dolls from the first year are being sold for big money.
