Abstract:Aim: To find out the difference of emotional maturity between football players at different level of achievements (
viz. Sub Junior level, Junior level and Senior level).
Methods: Sixty Nine, female football players between the age group of 12-28 years were chosen as subjects. Emotional Maturity Scale was used as tool for the present study.
Statistics: The differences in the mean of each group for selected variables were tested for the significance of difference by One-way Analysis of Variance.
Results: Emotional Unstability and Lack of Independence were found statistically significant (P <.05). However, Emotional Regression, Social Maladjustment, Personality Disintegration and Emotional Maturity were found statistically insignificant (P >.05) between football players (N=69) (viz. Sub Junior Level (N1=35), Junior Level (N2=22) and Senior Level (N3=12).
