IPAQ-The physical activity level was assessed using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. To compare the selected HRQOL variables between physically active and inactive women, Independent sample t-test was used. The level of significance was set at 0.05. It was concluded from the findings of the study that significant difference was obtained in Role Physical, Mental Health and Bodily Pain (The selected sub-scales of health related quality of life) between active perimenopausal andinactive postmenopausal women (t=70.015, 44.688 and 17.448 respectively, p<0.05). It is seen that the mean scores of physically active perimenopausal women were highest in Role Physical, Mental Health and Bodily Pain when compared to physically inactive postmenopause women.
