Need for proper preparation for sports competitions

Abstract:
Sports competition is the real test for athlete’s physical prowess. Functional fitness and competition fitness are the key to the proficiency of any sports person pre-requisite for any competition is the physiological and Psychological preparedness. Psycho-emotional factors social dimensions and physical wellness stand as the basic factors to train himself for preparedness for the competition. While physical factor help in burst of energy or strength of reserve energy and develop the inner strength are mental energy, the external factors help in facing the situation accordingly Sports training is a human activity relating to once our ability, capacity, understanding of the concept of competition and actual performance it also involves physical condition, technique, strategies abilities and performance capabilities better training and better preparation bring better results. The results are measured purely by performance in the competitions. It is during the period of time, planned methodologies have to be evolved to face the stiff competitions in sports. Physical conditioning, skill, strategies mental build up, diet, relaxation techniques etc. Together make the sum total of the preparation for competitions. Performance at competition depends on how well sports persons prepares himself and ready himself for the struggle.
