Abstract:
The purpose of the present study was survey of Sports Infrastructures and sports professionals in medical colleges of Bhopal. In order to select subjects for this study a list of approved medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh was taken from Medical education Department (DME.) Madhya Pradesh for the session 2021-22. Out of 24 medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh Medical Science Universities Jabalpur only 07 from Bhopal were selected as the institutions of medical for the research study. The information obtained from the responses of questionnaires was carefully and systematically compiled for data analysis. Percentage analysis with frequencies and mean were calculated for meaningful presentation of the surveyed information. The survey results revealed that none of the medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh fulfills the norms as laid down sports infrastructure and prescribed sports facilities, these institution conducting various courses like MBBS, MS, MD and PH.D. Program me in the field of medical sciences. The survey results also revealed inadequacies infrastructure of sports facilities in all the medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh state.
