The effect of MAXEX training to development of some elements of special strength and some offensive compound skills in youth basketball

Abstract:
The importance of the research lies in the preparation of maxes-style exercises, as well as knowing the extent of the impact of these exercises on the elements of special strength (explosive ability, strength characterized by speed, strength endurance) and the achievement of perfection in the compound offensive performance. The problem of the research was, through the researcher's observation, the dependence of most trainers on commonly applied training methods that do not focus on the strength of muscular work mainly, in addition to the lack of interest in updating and developing these methods and methods to achieve the desired goal, as the diversity of these methods and methods works to increase the excitement of the players, which is reflected To achieve a level of good physical and skill performance, one of these modern methods is the MAXEX method, which works to develop maximum strength, and thus this is reflected in the development of explosive ability, which is the basic foundation for some offensive skills in basketball, while the research objectives were in preparing exercises in the MAXEX style in developing some elements of special strength and some offensive skills Combined youth basketball as well as identifying the impact of MAXEX-style exercises in developing some elements of special strength and some offensive skills combined in youth basketball. The most important conclusion reached by the researchers was that there is a clear and real effect of the exercises in developing special strength and some offensive basketball skills for young players. Thus, the researcher recommends the need to pay attention to the development of physical abilities in a way that precedes and accompanies the development of defensive and offensive skills for young basketball players.
