Author(s): Dr. Man Singh
Abstract:
This study evaluates and contrasts National Level Kho-Kho Players' Sports Competitive Anxiety. The study was conducted on a purposeful sample of 75 male volunteers. The ages of the people were 18 to 25. The study's premise was that male national level Kho-Kho players would have a high level of anxiety related to sports competition. According to the study's findings, national male Kho-Kho players have a moderate level of competitive anxiety in sports. To determine the degree of anxiety related to sports competition experienced by male national level Kho-Kho athletes, the study's mean and standard deviation were calculated. A questionnaire known as the Sports Competitive Anxiety Test (SCAT) was employed for this purpose. But when we examined competitive anxiety in sports, had discovered that the degree of anxiousness among male Kho-Kho athletes was moderate related to sports competition. Coaches, sports psychologists, and legislators involved in talent development and athlete assistance programs should take note of the study's conclusions.
