Author(s): Sajeesh Kumar M and Vinod Jacob
Abstract:
This study investigates the levels of stress and aggression among university hockey players in Kerala, India. The increasing demands on student-athletes necessitate an understanding of how stress affects performance and behavior. A total of 120 players completed the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ). Results indicate significant differences in stress and aggression levels based on age, experience, and gender. The findings underscore the importance of targeted mental health interventions within university sports programs.
