Abstract:Study Aim: To analyse and compare the throwing ability among open skill athletes engaged in Football, Hockey, and Volleyball.
Material and Methods: A quantitative research design was employed to examine throwing ability among 296 open skill athletes, categorized into Football (147), Hockey (85), and Volleyball (64) players from various universities.
Statistical Techniques: Sample size estimation was conducted using G*Power version 3.1.9.7. Descriptive statistics and ANOVA were applied using SPSS version 20.0 with a significance level set at 0.05.
Results: The results revealed no significant differences in the throwing ability among the three sports groups (p>0.05).
Conclusions: Throwing ability does not significantly vary among open skill athletes across Football, Hockey, and Volleyball.
