Abstract:
The drumstick tree, Moringa oleifera, is a highly prized plant with a wide range of uses in the fields of nutraceuticals, cosmetics, and medicine. Packed with bioactive compounds like polyphenols, flavonoids, vitamins, and essential amino acids, M. oleifera has strong anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and antioxidant properties. Its leaves, seeds, flowers, and pods are used extensively in traditional medicine, skincare products, and functional foods to treat malnutrition, skin conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. It is also becoming more and more popular in the cosmetics industry because of its anti-aging and skin-rejuvenating effects.
