Author(s): Lovedeep Singh and Gurjit Singh
Abstract:
The aim of the study was to evaluate the Impulsiveness among Sub-Junior level and Junior level Hockey players. For this study, 30 male volunteers were chosen and separated into two groups: Group A: Sub-Junior Level Hockey Players (N1=15) and Group B: Junior Level Hockey Players (N2=15). Impulsiveness scale by S. N. Rai and Alka Sharma was utilized. The researchers selected their subjects using a purposive selection method. This strategy has a low level of accuracy because it focused on the most accessible topics. Furthermore, it is the most economical solution for the researcher in terms of time, effort, and money. To find out the differences of level of Impulsiveness between Sub-Junior Level Hockey and Junior Level Hockey Players, Unpaired t-test was used. The Level of significance was set at 0.05. The absolute value of the calculated t is smaller than critical value (1.0318<2.048), so the means are not significantly different.
