Abstract:
The objective of this study is to find out the personality traits of female Kho-Kho players with regard to Extraversion: Extravert, Introvert, Ambivert. 180 female Kho-Kho players were selected as a subject. The Esyenck Personality Inventory (E.P.I.) has been used to measure Extraversion, Neuroticism and Social Desirability of Kho-Kho female players. Chi square has been used to measure psychological personality traits of Extraversion frequency distribution of Kho-Kho female players. These players had participated in Krida Mahotsav (Sports Tournaments) Competitions held at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in the year 2022-2023. The purpose of using Chi-square test is to determine if there is a notable difference between the observed frequencies of personality traits. Extravert, Introvert, Ambivert and the expected frequencies assuming a uniform distribution. The Chi-square value personality types Kho- Kho female players is χ2 for 2 degree of freedom at 0.05 level of significance is 5.991. The calculated value of χ2 is 35.23 which is higher than the table value. This indicates that the female Kho-Kho players were more extroverts.
