Abstract:
The study was conceptualized with a very specific reference to compare the sports morality between football and basketball team of Uttar Pradesh. For the purpose of study thirty two (32) state level male players of Uttar Pradesh, for the year 2012-13, i.e. sixteen (16) from football and (16) from Basketball team were selected as subjects for the present study. The subject’s age ranged from 18 to 30 years. The sports morality scores of the subjects was obtained by using sports morality questionnaire developed by dawn Slephae and David Layed Shield. To compare between players of football and basketball team of Uttar Pradesh in sports morality, mean difference method (t ratio) ‘t’ test was used. The level of significance was set at 0.05 levels. Results showed that there was insignificant difference between state level male players of of football and Uttar Pradesh basketball team in relation to morality.
